From time to time an item will be dropped by Amazon. If you find such an item here please let us know!

Join Us

Like thousands of other Tea Party groups across the USA, we started with only a few people who had simply had enough and wanted to do something to change things for the better: for ourselves, for our children and to honor those who came before us.  We didn't quite know in the beginning what exactly that was, but we've since learned.

Our watchwords are Limited Government, Fiscal Responsibility, and Free Markets.  These are our goals and also our principles.  Our members—you!—provide the talent, time, effort, and yes, money, that make our work possible.  If you share our goals, please join us.  If you're hesitant, please visit our Projects pages to see the things we are actually working on.  If you're still on the fence, get in touch with us!  We'll be happy to answer your questions.

Sustaining Membership

Sustaining membership begins upon payment of dues for one year of $12/month ($144/year) (US Dollars).  Members may contribute more if they wish, and many do. (See Sponsorships, below).

Sustaining membership includes:

  • All the benefits of basic membership;
  • A personal, password-protected login on our website with additional privileges, subject to the policies below.
  • The right to join our project Committees, attend their meetings and vote at those meetings;
  • Access to membership discounts from all of the Bayshore Tea Party Group's sponsors with whom BTPG has secured same;
  • Right of first refusal for tickets and/or events to which the BTPG is invited or in which BTPG is participating;
  • Personal invitations, priority seating, behind-the-scenes access to BTPG events, fundraisers, meetings, etc.

Membership dues and sponsor contributions allow us to cover the very real costs of running an organization with its own meeting and work space.  The office allows us to conduct general meetings and classes, to hold Committee meetings as needed, to conduct the work of the Committees, to plan special in-house events, and to keep our doors open daily for members and prospective members alike.  Other expenses include signs, printed materials, and basic office supplies.

To pay online, go to our Donations Page for the Bayshore Teas Party Group and enter your dues payment there in the area for contributions.

Sponsorships

We gladly accept contributions of any amount but for those who stand ready to offer more financial support we suggest the following levels:

Our Silver Sponsors commit an additional $25/month to the Tea Party cause
Donate
Our Gold Sponsors commit an additional $50/month to the Tea Party cause
Donate
Our treasured Red, White, and Blue Sponsors commit an additional $100/month to the Bayshore Tea Party and the causes it supports
Donate

Please note that this is a personal commitment, not a contract.  We know you stand with us because you believe in us and in what we do, and we strive always to earn and keep your trust.

For those who wish to make a substantial one-time contribution we suggest our Stars and Stripes Sponsorship, a single donation of $2,000.  Support at this level allows us to build our financial reserves so that we may react promptly to opportunities and needs.

Membership and Financial Policies

Please take a moment to read and understand our membership and financial policies.

Neither the Bayshore Tea Party Group nor any individual associated therewith will ever take from it so much as a cent in profit so long as we're in existence.

The Bayshore Tea Party Group fights for liberty in our State and our Country.  We collect dues and accept sponsorships and donations to provide the money needed to carry out our mission.  Our effectiveness is multiplied by our ability to maintain an office where people can work, speakers can address us, committees can meet, supplies and working materials can be kept, and where members can congregate and seek respite from the 24-hour barrage of insanities from government, media, and all those for whom liberty, responsibility, and prosperity are inconvenient, embarassing, or baneful.

Financial Transactions

We have engaged an internet-capable financial services firm to provide secure online payment of dues and donations.  Payments may be one-time or monthly recurring.  All transactions are final upon completion and no refunds will be given.  (We work hard to ensure that you will never have a reason to want a refund.)

Website and Privacy Policies

Our website hosting service, SquareSpace, collects information about data exchanged with your computer when you visit our site.  This may include, but is not limited to, your IP address and Internet Service Provider, the pages you visited, and the browser you are using.  If you use a login we provide, your login ID may be kept as well.  If you post information on our site, the postings will be stored and may be linked to other identifying information.

Neither we nor our hosting service are obligated in any way to tolerate actions which interfere with the operation of our site or its use by others.

We reserve the right to delete your postings and comments for any reason. Rarely, if ever, will we do so simply because we disagree with you.  Our usual reasons for deleting a posting are that it is, in our good-faith opinion, (a) off-topic; (b) libelous, defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, profane, pornographic, offensive, false, misleading, or otherwise violates or encourages others to violate these terms of use or any law, including intellectual property laws; or (c) "spam", i.e., an attempt to advertise, solicit, or otherwise promote goods and services.

The Bayshore Tea Party Group does not own your comments and expressly disclaims any and all liability that may result from them. By posting or commenting on our site, you agree that you retain all ownership rights in what you post here and that you will relieve us from any and all liability that may result from those postings.

Our Commitment

Eleven score and 13 years to the day after the "Thirteen United States of America" closed their Unanimous Declaration by proclaiming to the world that they, "for the support of this declaration, [and] with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence", would mutually pledge to each other their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor, the Bayshore Tea Party Group was founded.

We do not ask for your fortunes or your lives today, but rather for a financial commitment to yourselves, your children, your State and your Country, through the vehicle of the Bayshore Tea Party Group.

To you, we pledge our sacred honor and make the solemn proclamation that we will work as hard as time and our bodies allow us every day until our last breath, to reverse the tide of socialism in the United States and return to being the prosperous, exceptional nation we can be by honoring the philosophy of truly limited government, sound fiscal responsibility and honestly free markets.

In Liberty, forever,

Bayshore Tea Party Group
