The members did that. Russ and Kelly worked for Anna Little. If not for the BTPG, they would have had no one to volunteer for them. Like now, actually. Anna's "army" was BTPG and several other tea party groups. BTPG w...ith many other tea party groups, had several vetting sessions and unanimously chose Anna Little to be their "Tea Party Candidate" In fact a member from BTPG thought of the "Tea Party Endorsed" name under which Anna ran. At the time, Russ was a ....blogger. He had nothing to do with BTPG. BTPG was founded a yr before Russ and Kelly and they are still here 2 yrs after. Russ was then hired by Little and that is how he became connected to BTPG. After the elections, Russ wanted to change the BTPG into an "organization" with Barbara being "in charge". That is not how this tea party works. He left because that was not what he wanted and he could not run this group.
2 - Lois, not knowing how to send email properly, inadvertently sent an email to Barbara with a thread attached where she trashed the tea party and was stealing information from the BTPG and sharing it with the GOP. She was the first and only member to be "thrown out". She was caught stealing and spying.
3 - Mark was caught by surveilance camera's putting threatening signs on the windows of BTPG as well as dangerous liquids on the door handles. He was reported to the police, video of him doing these acts are on file and he was sent a letter by an attorney to cease and desist or further action will be taken.
4 - Marcy was in agreement with Russ and was also trying to make an "organization" out of the group. That is not what the members wanted. Marcy left ....with our contact list!
5 - Dwight is a dear friend and ally to not only the BTPG, but all fighters of freedom and liberty. What he does now is extemely valuable to all in the tea party movement.

ALL BUT Dwight ARE GOP PEOPLE BY THE WAY....NOT TEA PARTY.
Now you have it.
We at BTPG will continue to do things OUR way. We have no desire to become a big organization, but instead, a group of citizens that get together, discuss, vote and take action. Sometimes we win, sometimes we don't, but we stand by our principles. Like us or not, that is the Bayshore Tea Party Group. Our hope is that members of ALL tea party groups will stay off the blogs that practice the ART of deceit, scandal and slander. They will do this to intimidate and pit us against each other.
Thank you

SQUIRRELLLLL!!!!

I haven't "babbled" in quite some time. I am hardly a "writer", but I do believe I had a bit of "writers block".

Somehow, this week, I found some inspiration from a squirrel. A very tough, very scary squirrel.

It started one morning when I heard a very distinct noise in the house when I knew no one was at home. The first thing I did was lock myself in my bedroom where I made sure I was armed. Once armed, I walked through the hallway of my second floor like I was one of Charlie's Angels. An older, fatter version of course. Farrah...I always wanted to be Farrah.

There I was, kicking doors open with my arms extended, gun in hand, to hopefully find the source of the noise, and live out a fantasy of yelling "freeze dirtbag, make one move and I will blow your head off!!" Come on..how many of you want to do that too?

I found that the noise was above me.....in the attic. No, I did not start shooting holes through the ceiling. Gun away, fantasy over.

Well, I called someone in only to tell me we had birds. Birds? Really? I told him they sounded like pretty big birds! Really heavy footed birds! Penguins maybe? He assured me that it was just birds...charged me way too much money and left after stuffing something into the hole he found.

I was not convinced......or wrong.

The next morning, I was startled by a squirrel, jumping like one of the Amazing Walenda's, onto my window screen. He ran across the roof and disappeared somewhere into my attic.

Now, I look from the second floor window to see a hole chewed right into my roof! A pretty large hole. I am now thinking...maybe this isn't a squirrel at all. Do mountain lions climb onto roofs (rooves?) and chew into attics? I need a bigger gun.

I call in a friend who was kind enough to use his carpentry skills to close the roof hole. He did a great job, except....uh, yeah...the squirrel was in the attic when we closed the hole.

I can hear him (or her) running all over the attic in a frenzy!

We set up one of those Have- A- Heart traps up in the attic with a peanut butter sandwich in it. Really, should we be giving the squirrel protein at this time? Why don't we just give him a Red Bull and a shot of Espresso while we're at it? Wouldn't a cup of warm milk and a lavender scented candle be better??

This is when I realize that the attic door that should be flush with the ceiling, isn't, and a wave of fear came over me. Oh no! The squirrel can definitely fit through that space.

I rigged up a long stick...ceiling to floor, to keep the door closed tightly and called in the Squirrel Busters! I had visions of the movie Christmas Vacation with the family running up and down the stairs yelling "SQUIRREL!!!!!" while Chevy Chase had the squirrel on his back....classic!

I left the house and will return at 3PM to meet up with the rascal remover. I am hoping that the squirrel is IN the trap, eating the peanut butter sandwich, in need of a glass of milk and just hangin' waiting to be set free. I am hoping. I'll letcha know how it goes.

I was thinking back to when I was a kid and sometimes things were kind of of hard. Money was not always easy to come by for my dad, a contractor. I was happy, don't get me wrong. Mom and dad never let us know that anything was wrong. Mom hummed away while making something she concocted with chop meat and vegetables. Dad knew he had no work the next day, but managed to rough house with us and whistle around the house.

I never remember being hungry or sad about not having a lot of money.

I also never remember my dad feeling that it was anyone's responsibility but his own to feed and clothe his family or pay his bills.

He always managed to get on his feet and make things better. He worked very hard. He worked in the freezing cold or in 100 degree heat because when there was work, you took it.

I grew up in Brooklyn where no one really commented much about money. If there was a poor kid on the block, you took him home for dinner and fed him. Boy, moms concoctions really tasted good to that kid.

I may not have grown up rich financially, but I grew up rich indeed with morals and principles taught to me by parents.

I miss my dad. He died way too young at 59. He is the reason for my tenacity and drive to follow through with what I think is right.

As the only girl in my family, he taught me to be tough. I remember my first driving lesson. He purposely went to sleep so I would (sorta) be on my own.

Now, I am not the rich one that I titled this Babble about. I live a middle class life, many times worried about two sons in college... my husband keeping his job. He has two jobs, actually. He takes care of my sons, me and my mom who lives with us, two Pomeranians and a rat. He makes a legal, honest living and we live within our means. Well, mostly anyway!

Anyway, let me get to my point of the Babble.

I know this fellow named Richard Guy. He is very wealthy. He earned it through hard work and sacrifice. He has a beautiful house which really helped the Real Estate business that sold it to him. Not to mention the builder, the landscaper.....etc.

Wow, his house is full of beautiful furniture which in turn was really good for the carpet store, tile store, furniture store, etc...etc...etc...

Just think about all the stuff in that house! Several big screen tv's, hot tubs....wow.

His pool is amazing. The pool company loves people like him. So does the young gentleman that cleans the pool for him. He talks about this to the landscaper that comes to take care of his gardens. They always say hi to the dry cleaners that delivers the tons of beautiful suits that Rich Guy bought in a men's clothing store...the one that employs about a hundred people. The cleaning staff takes the dry cleaning and puts it away in this great closet that some carpenter made for him.

Rich Guy isn't home today, because he went out on his boat. The one he bought from the boat salesman down the road. Rich Guys boat had some issues the other day, so he brought it down to the guy who repairs boats. He employs about 10 people. He did have to order some parts. They came from another small business. The guys who owns that business isn't as rich, but very thankful to Rich Guy for giving him business....after all, what would this guy do without Rich Guy?

Now I know this other guy who is an investor. He had Rich Guy as a client. He likes Rich Guy too because he invests lots of money into the system.

Geez, can you believe that recently, Rich Guy went out and bought a jet? I mean really...does he need a jet? Wait...what? You ask if he paid for it? Well, yeah sure he did. He worked hard and bought a jet so he can get from place to place quickly. Probably to go on vacation in Martha's Vineyard. He gives lots of business to some local restaurants, souvenir shops, and the beautiful hotel he stays in. The one that employs hundreds of people.

He loves getting pampered too. Massages, manicures, theater, jewelry, gadgets, widgets and whatnots! And my oh my, he owns so many cars!

He really helped out the car dealers, detailers, mechanics, Insurance companies.....whew.

So, this Rich Guy is a piece of work isn't he? What nerve to have all that when the rest of us don't.

YA GET THE POINT????? sigh

There are a few things that I love...truly, truly love. My family, my God, my country........and animals. I absolutely LOVE animals. More than people even!

During Hurricane Katrina, as horrific as the scenes were to watch on television, I could not watch at all when they showed a dog or cat clinging to a floating piece of wood.

When I heard the stories of the people being picked off their roof by helicopters, but having to let go of their pet.....Oh no!!!...that would not have happened if it were me. You take my dog or you leave me on this roof. That dog would not leave me...I would not leave him.

When I was a kid (if you read my first few babbles you would see I was a pretty "imaginative" kid) I would watch King Kong and actually root for the ape. Yes, when he stomped on the people and smashed them much like he was doing the "mashed potato".

(that's an old dance for any youngins reading this) I would jump up and yell "YES, YES, get them Kong, get them!!".

I cried at the end when they killed King Kong. I cried when I watched Mighty Joe Young......and forget about the torrent of tears when I watched Old Yeller or Lassie.

Recently, I went to Pet Smart where they were having an "Adoption Day" and I saw this young lady holding a little dog who looked so sad. The girl said she was fostering the dog until he got adopted because someone just adopted her brother, whom she was with since birth.

So as not to embarrass myself, I claimed "pet allergies" and walked away crying like an idiot.

I do not go to zoo's or circuses or watch the commercial where Sarah Mclachlin sings that sad song about angels while little dogs and their sad eyes pull at your heart strings. You see, if I watch that, my heart rips right out of my chest.

My fourteen yr. old dog can look at a suitcase in the foyer and say "hmmmm...never saw that before, I think I will pee on it"...and I will wipe it up and pat the old boy on the head. He's fourteen for God's sake! My husband starts doing stuff like that when he ages....he is off to Sunny Acres Old Age Home!!

I volunteered years ago to accompany my kids on a school trip to the Philadelphia Zoo. I knew that was a mistake. My little group that I was responsible for probably turned out to be PETA executives after I had them for the day! Watching Lions and Tigers pace in a cage was horrifying for me and I told the kids it should be for them as well.

I was not invited back as a volunteer the next year.

Here is where it gets a bit different........The other night, my son was driving to a friends house when a huge buck, an 8 pointer, ran right into his car. Right into the drivers door. The car was smashed, all the air bags deployed and my son got a few bumps and bruises. Thank God he was not seriously injured. He could have been. His window was open, and the policeman said it was amazing that the antlers did not hurt my son from seeing where the deer hit.

My son called us and we went to the scene, as his car was not drive-able. I hugged my son for 17 hours ...okay like 10 minutes....and then went over to look at the deer His eyes were open and he was quite dead. I did feel badly for this animal and hope he did not feel any pain, but I have to tell you....it was between my son and this deer.

Suddenly, I was looking at a tic infested, stupid, not paying attention, huge, should be hunted down, eaten or caged, filthy animal. I wondered how many people have gotten killed because they run into the highway. Yes, humans have built up areas that cause the deer to have nowhere to go...I know all that.

But that night, he was a thing that could have hurt my son. Hence the title of my babble "Buck you, Deer!"

So, I guess if I was around during King Kong's massacre (insert "old" jokes here) I would have been quite peeved at this huge ape if he mashed a member of my family.

I am sure I would be angry if I were a relative of the woman who's face got eaten off by someones pet monkey a couple of years ago.

I must remember....it's okay to love animals as much as I do, but humans come first.

Okay, so maybe not all humans.

Definitely not all humans.

Okay, gotta go....my old dog just claimed some territory next to a kitchen chair. It's okay buddy...mama still loves ya!

(This definately IS NOT Weiner!)

The fact that there are no jobs is hilarious. It's not? Well, all of my unemployed friends have tears in their eyes all the time. Yeah, I know. Those are not tears of joy.

ObamaCare has me in stitches. See? That is a play on words. That can be funny. Health Care...stitches...get it? Not so funny, okay.

Well then, how about the "death panels"? Maybe they can actually sit at a panel and tell jokes about their decisions.

You know, like..... "your grandma is so old"..."how old is she?"..... "she is so old the candles on her birthday cake raised earths temperature by 3 degrees."......."she is so old, when she was a kid, rainbows were black and white".

So, while there may be some things we may be able to joke about, we are in a very sad state. I wish more people would wake the hell up and pay attention to whats going on. I am a believer of making light of the bad things in life, but it's getting harder and harder to do.

I sure hope we can all "LOL" soon and really mean it. Better days are coming. We must believe that. We must.

So, I will close with a silly joke. What do you call a fish with no eyes?.....................Answer: A fsh!

And you thought the answer was: a fish treated through ObamaCare!

I am underground with my pc, a bottle of water (I think I should have brought more water...hmmm.) and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Oh yeah.....and a gallon of Rocky Road. Damn, I forgot a spoon. No problem...end of the world....I'll just scoop it out with my hands. Who will care?

So...wait....I think I hear something. Waaasat? Waaasat? Didja hear that? Oh....just a kid going by on a skateboard being pulled by his dog. Doesn't he know what's about to happen? Where are his parents? I think that was a dog. The kid looked sort of scared now that I think of it. No. Just my imagination. I must relax.

It's getting darker....very ominous out there. Something is definately about to happen. I better run and get another gallon of ice cream.....be right back.

Okay, I'm back. Oh yeah, I just killed a zombie while I was upstairs. I think he was going for my ice cream. He looked amazingly like my husband. Hmmm. Wow.

Okay, so I better pay attention here. Zombies could be everywhere in a matter of minutes.

If anyone finds this blog...whatever....if I am eaten by a zombie or swallowed up by the earth, just know that as this is happening, I am calm, relaxed...FULL...geez, I ate too much ice cream.

There's a rumble.....a very strange rumble...it's loud..oh, it's so loud it's hurting my...it's....it's.....

Oh.

No problem.

It's my stomach. I definately ate too much ice cream. I should be still now. I must hear if anyone or anything approaches.

I see a shadow. It's very slow moving and large. Very creature like....Oh...good, that was a zombie I killed upstairs before. Husband is alive.

Should I let him know where I am? With only one bottle of water? Are you crazy? I will just sit and wait.....and wait....and wait.....

I am....oh......noooo!

beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep

Now, you know I just had to stay away from the whole "birther" thing or the royal wedding, so I picked another topic.

Socialism and the Tea Party. How's that?

What an interesting mix. Tea and turpentine.

We had a visitor recently, a very young fellow who is running for Monmouth County Freeholder....as a Socialist.

Why such a visit? Well, we had all the Republican candidates come to be vetted, and offered Amy Mallet, the Democrat in the race, to come as well. She declined.

When we heard about this Socialist, we thought we would give him the same opportunity and that it would be very interesting.

It was.

It turns out that Pat, the candidate, is a very bright, polite and respectful young man. Of course we in the Tea Party were left scratching our heads in wonder at some of his answers.

Without giving you any details of his answers, just imagine everything being the opposite of what our answers would be.

Interestingly enough, his concerns and frustrations are the same as ours. He does not like Obama, Pelosi and Reid. He has issues with illegal immigration. The problem is, that he feels that the solution to all the problems we have is to "fix it".

Hmmmm....fix it. Duct tape? Hammer (and sickle) and nails? Glue, perhaps? Reform and "fix it" sound like good things to do, but HOW? As we thought, Pat could not really give us any remedies to these issues that we face.

He believes in redistribution of wealth and a trickle up economy.

Now, I know from personal experience that the immigration system is not without flaws, but I do believe we need to close the borders until we figure out what "fix it" means.

Pat mentioned how America is supposed to be the land for everyone to come to. Well, yes.....LEGALLY.

Pat, we have terrorists, drug lords, people with diseases, people who pay no taxes.

We are broke and cannot feed, clothe and take care of people who don't work or don't pay their share of taxes.

I mean yes, we are all for immigration, it's the illegal part we have a problem with.

Does America stand for people coming here to feel that if you don't believe in their religion, you should die? That they should blow up our mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, children and friends?

We believe in freedom of religion, not "it's our religion or die". Because of these dangers, we need to be very careful of who enters this country.

As nice as Pat was, he brought an older man with him that really got my knickers in a knot. He came in here with an attitude and at any comment or interruption, he "harrrumphed" and mumbled under his breath... a few times even stating out loud that we were without decorum. He was ridiculous. I can almost understand how someone as young as Pat can be fooled by the teachings of Socialism, but a man in his 60's? Uggh.

I wished that I had told him that if he feels we should pay more taxes for those that are less fortunate.... write a check! The government will never turn away a check.

I would love to know if he would haul his big ole Socialist butt to Alabama to help the people there.

If he does, remind me to tell him to bring the duct tape! There, it would actually be useful!

Well, its my job to worry...even if I will have to worry through skype. Virtual worry. Wow. Technology is amazing.
